I have seen our village grow in this little corner of paradise, with a lake view that fills the heart and a peace that nourishes the spirit. The land on which it stands today was an ancient vineyard, lovingly cared for by Pino and Rita. In 1995, I convinced Rita to sell it to me. I promised that it would become a corner of peace where any construction would respect the times and spaces of the surrounding nature, integrating perfectly into the environment. Construction work began in 2010. The design includes 9 apartments to be sold only to suitable buyers who love and respect nature. As the house gradually rises, however, I become less convinced I want to sell.
I decide, with my lifetime companion Fabrizio, to keep 3 apartments to transform them into a future family home. The 6 remaining ones would be sold. This idea still does not satisfy me. I decide, as a real estate expert, to review my work commitments and devote myself completely to hospitality. I would transform the house into a small resort where "personal care" becomes my mission. These were the years of searching for a new way to offer hospitality, of the awareness that "providing" is the ingredient to be UNIQUE. The architect, a special person in my life who knew me very well, designed the structure to leave me a blank canvas on which to express all my creativity and passion.
I spent sleepless nights imagining every detail, the wall colors and the slightest detail. I thought of everything and had some items made according to what the emotions of this place suggested to me. My idea of hospitality is to create an environment where people feel at home, relax, laugh, and read while sipping a good wine. Here they can put aside words, thoughts and the frenzy of everyday life. So over the years it has become a small resort, with breakfast room, spa, swimming pool, and a garden with artistic installations. The village has not stopped; it is still always in the making, ideas overlap, projects start, some are realized, and others need to rest and develop ...
In 2022 the vineyard has been restored with 400 new Cabernet vineyards and 25 of table grapes for guests. Here too, my choice is to aim for a limited, traditional production with grapes harvested by hand ... no chemistry, just a love for wine and ancient winemaking methods. I think of the vineyard as an experiential environment for guests and artists who can enjoy a magical moment immersed in nature ... this is the dream up to today ... I really love my country and its territories with their products. They are not just food, but art and culture, another experience able to involve my client in an ethical, sustainable, cultural lifestyle choice...
